Designed by José María Olazábal, La Sella Golf is a challange for any player since 1991. La Sella is one of the most important courses designed by the double champion of the Masters in Agusta.. Denia’s natural beauty and unique scenery accompanies the player throughout the round plus it is next to Montgo Natural Park.

Enjoy in Denia an 18-hole round of golf, with 9 more under construction, known internationally for its excellent conditions for playing golf throughout the year. Its 6,289 metres has been played by the top names in European golf.

La Sella Golf has been headquarters of the Peugeot Circuit since 2007 and has hosted national team events and other big events.

It is a wide and varied course, located in an area which is protected. Its design is appropriate for all levels of players.

Golf in Denia

The 18 holed La Sella Golf Club is surrounded by a Mediterranean ecosysytem of woods and mountains and is flanked by the impressive Montgó Natural Park. From every corner of the course you can see different speices of olive trees, orange trees and almond trees, which makes this course, along with the pleasant climate, a golfer’s paradise.

We have been given the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certificate. Our watering system uses recycled residual water and we use ecological products in the maintenance of the course.

Oliva Nova Golf - 18 hole near the sea

Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, the Oliva Nova Golf Club course extends to around 50 hectares.

It is a par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120, the main characteristic of which is that 15 of its 18 holes include water obstacles. The only holes that have no water obstacles are numbers 2, 13 and 14.

This is a technical course over gently undulating ground. It is easy to walk, and adheres to the traditional formula of four par 3's, four par 5's and ten par 4's, where good strokes are rewarded and bad ones are not, and, as Seve himself says: "This course offers great possibilities to all golfers, as it has short, medium and long holes, and fairways with left and right doglegs. I think it poses a challenge to any golfer." The amen corner of the course is at the 13th, 14th and 15th holes, where strategy and the wind are determining factors.

To date, the course has hosted various official competitions, including tournaments for Spanish professional players. It was on this course that the Peugeot Golf Tour began. So far, the best score has been that of Miguel Ángel Jiménez in January 1999 with 63 strokes, 9 under par.

For the past 4 years it has hosted the beginning of the EPD Tour season, the 3rd level tournament of the European Circuit and the Classification School (PQ 2) of the European Tour in November 2004.

It has also been host to the world championship of the World Golf Teachers Federation and to the Super-Seniors World Championship.

For the past 4 seasons, important events have been celebrated here, such as the Celebrity Golf Tour and the Ray Clemence Footballers Golf Invitational. These are charity events in which the participants are famous singers, actors, sportspeople and ex-international football legends.

Javea Golf Club

The course was designed by Francisco Moreno and opened in 1981. Situated 100 kilometres from Alicante on the way to Valencia, and sheltered from the wind by Cape San Antonio, the course has a perfect microclimate all the year round, and is located in a wonderful natural setting, surrounded by pinewoods.

The course is a gently sloping 9 hole course with well-maintained greens and fairways flanked by palm trees, pine trees and orange trees. Although it has only 9 holes, on the second time around or back nine, many of the holes are played from different tees making it virtually an 18 hole course. Also the 4th / 13th green is large enough to accommodate two separate pin positions for each hole.

The 6th presents difficulties, a par 4 with splendid views from a plateau green requiring a safe and precise drive to the dogleg. The 120 metre 16th is the shortest hole and the 475 metre 5th is the longest.

Although it is not very long, it is certainly challenging as it is plagued by bunkers nearly all the way round - 34 in total, and all of the greens have subtle runs, many of which are difficult to read.
